Our accommodation
The accommodation we provide is designed to make our residents feel comfortable in their surroundings; a home from home is what we’re aiming for. We actively encourage residents to decorate their rooms with their own belongings to promote a sense of familiarity. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated, and some have en suite WC.
Our dining room
Our dining room is not just a place for eating, but also for socialising. We would like to think that every mealtime can be an occasion.
Nutrition is a high priority at Inglewood, and we spare no expense in maintaining high standards of cooking and ingredients.
Our chefs take pride in cooking wholesome food, using fresh local ingredients, that provides a varied menu whilst also catering for special dietary needs.
The choice is yours whether you eat with other residents in the dining room or have it provided in your room on request.
Home from home dining
Our Visitors
Inglewood is your home and as such we welcome you to have your family and friends visit at any time. You can entertain visitors in your room, chat in peace in our one of our quieter lounges or in the more communal lounge, or simply take a stroll around the well-tended garden.
Our residents are free to come and go, often joining friends and family on excursions, meals out and holidays. We also offer days out throughout the year. There are also plenty of opportunities to make friends with other residents and staff, who are there on hand to sit and chat.
Our activities are designed to be both engaging and enriching, creating joyful experiences for our residents every day. From creative arts and crafts sessions to interactive games, wellness exercises, and social events, we offer a diverse range of activities that cater to all interests and abilities. Our dedicated activities coordinator ensures that each activity promotes not only fun but also physical, mental, and emotional well-being. At Inglewood, every moment is an opportunity to connect, grow, and enjoy life to the fullest!
There are plenty of local amenities at hand whether you want to visit the local pub to enjoy an afternoon lunch or want an outing to Sutton Park. There are also excellent bus services to take you further afield, for shopping trips. These opportunities mean you need never be without something interesting to do.
Ourfacilities
In addition, we offer a weekly ward round conducted by the local GP surgery, where residents have the opportunity to be seen by the advanced nurse practitioner. This service complements the regular visits from local healthcare professionals, such as opticians, chiropodists, occupational therapists, and dentists, all of which are available at highly competitive rates, ensuring comprehensive and affordable care for our residents.
You can also keep your existing GP, if they are willing, or simply transfer to a local GP through our care manager. Newspapers are provided in the communal lounge; however, we can arrange for your own paper to be delivered.
