Inglewood operates under a philosophy of care that ensures all residents live in a safe, comfortable environment where they are treated with respect and equality, regardless of their individual needs or backgrounds. We foster a community built on trust and familiarity, where every resident feels valued and at home.
We believe it’s extremely important to promote independence and understand that all our residents should be treated as individuals. As such, each resident has a plan of care designed around their requirements and preferences, granting them choice in aspects of their daily routine.
Each resident has a personalized care plan tailored to their unique needs and preference, allowing them to have a say in their daily routines. We warmly welcome regular visits from family and friends, recognizing the importance of these connections.
To maintain our high standards of care, we utilize a person-centered digital care system. This innovative approach minimizes the time spent on paperwork, ensuring that all care interactions are documented in real-time. By doing so, we achieve our goal of giving staff more time to engage with residents, enhancing regulatory compliance, and ultimately improving the quality of care we provide.
The health, safety and well-being of residents, visitors and the team remains our number one priority and as such, we have updated our contingency plan, in line with the Government Adult Social Care Winter Plan, as explained below. Our aim is to protect our residents, visitors, and team, from infections including Coronavirus and ensure that people remain connected.
We have implemented during the pandemic that robust cleaning processes and our environment has been adapted to minimise the risk of spreading the virus.
Social visits will continue, in line with Government advise and that from public health. We will keep you informed of any changes or updates. Garden visits remain in place, should the weather allow it, as well as a designated safe indoor visiting room.
We also have risk-assessed our day-to-day activities and are adhering to social distancing measures. We are isolating residents and team members who develop COVID related symptoms.
Despite the challenges faced from COVID, our team is still running a full and engaging activities program.
We are pleased to welcome back some of our entertainers who our residents enjoy.
We continue to welcome new residents to our home; we are following a robust screening measure for potential exposure to the virus. New residents are required to have a negative swab test result prior to moving in.
Our team continue to be vigilant for any known signs of the virus and take measures in place to minimise the spread. We have regular access to GP services and other health care professionals.
